### **Thatcher Rock, Torquay**
At first glance, you might think, *"It's just a rock in the middle of the sea."* But trust me, Thatcher Rock is so much more.
Photographs often fail to capture its true beauty. On a stunning summer’s day, the sight of this rock, framed by its breathtaking surroundings, is truly mesmerizing. If you’re lucky enough to enjoy the viewpoint alone or with a loved one, the serenity is unparalleled. For me, it’s the kind of place where time seems to pause—where I could sit for hours, simply gazing, never tiring of its charm.
When you’re walking or sailing around the bay, be sure not to overlook this gem! Interestingly, many people call it *“Thatchers Rock”*—a name I personally find much more fitting. My first visit was unforgettable, thanks to my lovely other half. Since then, this magical spot has held a special place in my heart, and I can’t help but return time and again.
